Which Hydraulic Valve Should I Use for Lifting?

For safety, a hydraulic valve with a load check is necessary in order that the load does not drop before it begins to raise again when you are shifting out of the neutral position. Cross BA, AD, SS and DV valves have load checks.

(The load check is a spring loaded poppet which prevents the oil from backflowing until enough pressure is created to raise the load.)
